Vodacom really does not want go the extra mile
I have been a Vodacom customer for a very long time. I have also been a Vodacom fiber customer for 4 years now. I am on a month-to-month contract with Vodacom and also have paid my due. I have decided to move my package to another ISP but still keep my cell phone contracts with Vodacom. I have sent Vodacom fiber a notice of cancellation on 15 August, and I full understand the 30 days notice. I have asked Vodacom politely to help me, to assist me, to be a value player. I said that I will pay for another month (which is the 30 days notice) and to just release my line to the new ISP so we can get a clean quick handover which will assist me in not having a disruption in my service. Vodacom is refusing to assist me and will only release the line on the 1st of October. Then I have to fight beg and plead and rush to have everything sorted on my side. Is Vodacom such a vindictive and spiteful company that they will not assist a customer with the simplest task even if I am willing to fully comply with payments and 30 days notice. They will make extra money, i will pay my notice and I will not be using the service, WOW free money. ho will not take that offer? Really Vodacom, is that how this works?
