Vodacom & RAM causing upgrade mess

I am a Vodacom customer since 1993/1994. I have done upgrade each and every time that it was possible. Mainly inshop but also online. I was due to upgrade on 11 June 2022, and upgraded online. Delivery of the handset is managed by RAM. The 1st attempt to deliver was at my previous work address. The number that I am upgrading is the main cell phone number I have had for nearly 26 years but Vodacom gave RAM a secondary phone number that is used by a family member. When RAM eventually got the correct delivery address, they did not make prior arrangements and phoned the wrong number. The driver was advised that I am available and that the driver should access the complex via our intercom system. This request was ignored even though he was given also my correct number. I contacted RAM and Vodacom and eventually the handset was delivered. After a a day on 16 June 2022 within the cooling off period I informed Vodacom I want to cancel and opt for another handset. Eventually RAM came to fetch the handset. The cancellation of the upgrade was processed and on 1 July 2022 I was permitted to complete the upgrade to a new handset. Again the delivery caused problems. Again wrong number provided to the RAM driver. On the day of the attempted delivery 6 July 2022 the driver came to my residence, phoned the secondary number used by my family member. He was advised that he should phone me directly on my primary number that is to be upgraded. However the driver left. I contacted the driver requesting to return to my house. He refused and informed that I must make arrangements with his admin office. The admin office advised that they will arrange for the driver to return, but nothing happened. The next morning on the RAM 's tracking portal I saw that the driver advised that I did not keep to the time and date. I phoned RAM and about this comment and gave my version. The agent informed that they will arrange again for the delivery. The next day nothing happened and I phoned again whereupon the RAM agent informed that they may only proceed with a new delivery if instructed by Vodacom and they did not get such a further instruction. Since the 6th I am trying to facilitate the delivery by phoning Vodacom and RAM about every day and even 2-3 times per day because of the different responses I get from the agents. I complained and was informed that all calls are recorded and that the agents are working under supervision. Nobody contacted me to advise about the correct status or incorrect information supp**** to me. Eventually I again cancelled the upgrade as the online upgrade is not working and that I would rather do an upgrade inside a Vodacom shop. Again Vodacom and RAM are messing up the cancelation as the handset in RAM's possession has to be returned to the Vodacom warehouse before the cancelation can be completed and I be allowed to upgrade at a shop. I complained by email, either no response or not addressing the problem. Big companies and organisations don't care about the customer. I am just a drop in the ocean for them, a lonely voice in the desert. Today is 15 July 2022 still no joy or customer satisfaction. What should I do? Await the contract period and cancel and go to another service provider?
