VODACOM PUNISHES THE GOOD GUYS

In July 2014, a ********* opened up two cell phone contracts in my name using my id number and bank account details. When I found out a month later and brought this to Vodacom's attention at a branch near my home (saving them money by having the cell numbers blocked), it suddenly became my problem.
I am not a Vodacom customer, have never been to the Brooklyn Mall in Pretoria (I live in CT) and simply wanted them to acknowledge that their branch had accepted ********** information to open the account - in my view, their problem. Clearly no problem to Vodacom - when the ****** didn't pay, Vodacom simply submitted the information to TransUnion credit bureau and allowed a 'misconduct' entry to be made on my profile. I have only recently been notified of this. Thanks Vodacom for your considerate actions.
I would appreciate an apology and immediate removal of the offending entry at all credit monitors who have been given the information. Tomorrow morning would be great.
