Vodacom. Prove Your Loyalty

Hi.

I have been unemployed since 2016, which caused me to fall behind on my Vodacom account. Despite my circumstances leading me to fall a month behind my account I have made payment every month using the "Promise To Pay" facility we I have greatly appreciated. This month though I paid 2 days late due to funds only clearing 2 - the payment as promise was made in any case. Vodacom's computer system, however, barred my access to have a functioning cellphone. I called customer service(around 10h30-10h40) speaking to Portia who informed due to the delayed payment I was disconnected. Portia mentioned that she would reconnect me, informing that there will be a penalty added to my account. In 2 hours I should turn my cell off and restart for connection.

As connection did not take place I called again speaking to both Dimpho & Zanele (around 15h05/15h18) - ridiculously I am now told that it is impossible for Vodacom to reconnect me until all outstanding amounts are made due to new upgrade system. As mentioned I have been unemployed since 2016, making payments every month though in arrears (very much appreciated) now due to a computer system all access is denied. Vodacom - check how long I have been with you and how many contracts I have, surely you do not treat you loyal customers as such. Oh yes you do, 2016 April I handed in a tablet for repairs which was to be replaced as the young ones say "Dololo" - - yes I have a outstanding tablet since 2016 - of which I have taken to forget. I have 5 contracts with Vodacom - most now due for upgrade giving me the option to move elsewhere - prefer not to - but will if treated as such.

Vodacom please tell your computers to reconnect me.
