Vodacom Protect causes problems

I am travelling in Namibia and when I inserted an MTC SIM card, Vodacom Protect assumed my mobile phone was ****** and locked my mobile phone. I do not want Vodacom Protect to be installed on my mobile. Vodacom must not force it down our throats.<br>
