Vodacom Promenade - Wrong goods sold

On September 17th I went into the branch to inquire about your laptop deals.
The consultant I spoke with, Ronize, showed me the deals in the book and went ahead and chose the HP laptop R399 deal.

A couple of days later I was called by the Manager, Nathier to let me know that the laptop was in store for me to come pick up. I went back on 24th September 2016 to finalize the contract.
However when I was finally seen by Ronize, she couldn't find my application and was running around the whole store looking for my papers. Eventually she brought out the goods only to realize that it was in fact a notebook and not the laptop I had wanted. So after an hour of waiting I went back home empty handed.

Then on Friday 30th September 2016, I was in the shopping mall and decided to go to the branch to inquire again about the laptop as no one was in touch with me. I went straight to the consultant I was dealing with to ask whether the laptop had arrived and was told that they don't have it. I went back home and later that evening I received a call to advise that there was a misunderstanding/ miscommunication and that I could come and collect the laptop as it was in store.

I then went in again for the 4th time on 1st October 2016 to finalize the contract. While I was in store the consultant brought it out without opening the box to show the goods and that it was in order, not even for the modem which was included in the deal. Before I left the store I asked her whether this was an i3 or i5 to which she rep**** it was an i3.

When I got back home I opened the box the evening to charge the battery. Then I started up the computer only to realize to my horror that it was in fact a notebook.

I went back to the store yesterday only to find that the consultant is on training, which I then asked to speak to the Manager. Firstly, he didn't make an effort to come out from the back and instead kept sending his staff to tell me that they can't help me because the contract has been finalized. i am very unhappy about the service i received from the branch and will not recommend Vodacom to anyone. If I had known that it was a notebook and not laptop I was applying for, then I would not have gone through with the deal and would have cancelled it.

I know my rights as a customer and thus need action to be taken as I will not be paying for something I was given the wrong information on.

I am now so ****ed off at the way Vodacom handles their customers.
I get a call this morning and spoke to someone from customer care. I explained my situation regarding the goods I was sold and she was kind enough to explain to me that I should go back to the Promenade branch to return it and request for a reversal of contract.
Customer care sent me an email with Authentication Response ***. I then take the package back only to be told they will not do the reversal. And also they can't do anything as the manager is not there and I will have to wait until Friday to see the manager and see what he can do for me. I also spoke to Hajiera from head office at ********** who told me they will not take it back as it is seen as second hand. It was the responsibility of the consultant I dealt with to have opened up the package to show me that everything was in working order before I left the shop on Saturday, so because I now opened it, it is viewed as second hand? This is unacceptable!!!
