Vodacom Price increase after contract ended

Couple of years ago I took out a contract with Vodacom and it came to an end at the end of December 2023, meaning after that it will be on a month-to-month until I decide otherwise, but what happened on the 3rd of January 2024 Vodacom decided to deduct 4040 from my account stating that that discount had come to an end and therefore I had to pay more, I brought this to their attention attention that I didn’t get any confirmation and/or communication regarding the price increase or the end of discount as they call it , the agent who was very helpful in explaining these terms and logging a call for me with their back office did make notes of the provisions of CPA that requires them to notify me, to which whoever that they spoke to referred that as nonsensical and not applicable. I hate that our relationship has become so unattainable that every time I need to raise it on this platform because the people who are tasked with receiving customer complaints either don’t care or nonchalant . Considering my subscription you would think it’s worth the consideration if I raise such petty issues which are of significant value to me because it’s my money I didn’t budget to lose to an entity of any kind. I am flabbergasted by this kind of behaviour by the agents and the management where it’s Vodacom way or the highway and if you don’t like it, you are free to leave. I have since requested a call recording of the agreement and or confirmation that was made to me on the day wherein I would’ve been told and explicitly agreed that when the contract come to an end any discounts will be terminated without prior notice and therefore the price will increase. I’m currently paying for two contracts with Vodacom they are different packages but I’m paying the same amount for both of them despite the 10 gig difference in the allocation which financially doesn’t make sense hence this complaint.
