Vodacom premature cancellation process is a nightmare
My experience terminating my Vodacom contract has been nothing but unpleasant and bad. Taking into account that I have been a part of the network for many years, I have discovered that my number is on M2, which is their outdated system. I was informed that the procedure of cancelling my contract would be simple after receiving an email with a quote and visiting a Vodacom store in Greenstone to pay the required payment. I completed the entire procedure by returning the necessary documents by email using the specified email address on the form *** in order to terminate my contract.
I was surprised that Vodacom did not send me an email confirmation. Then I got in touch with the call centre, which provided me with a number of email addresses (consultants are unsure of which email address is appropriate to use when terminating a contract). *** *** ***
When I called Vodacom again last week, I noticed that they had given me an invoice statement for June. A consultant helped me and provided me with his manager's email address A****e ***** . It wasn't until I gave them another call later in the week that the manager answered my email that he received it and will escalate to the correct department and i should wait to be contacted . I was instructed to wait 72 hours by the consultant, and you guessed it—still no answer. From 4 May 2024, till to date
