Vodacom, Power to who?????
I took out a contract with Vodacom in June 2016. The phone they gave me didn't work properly and when I reported it all I kept getting was reference numbers. In May this year a consultant from Vodacom called me about an upgrade and I told them I don't want an upgrade and in fact i would like to cancel my contract because I am not happy with the service. Later in the month I got a call from a courier company confirming the delivery of my phone for my Vodacom upgrade. I told them I did not order an upgrade will not give them my address. I later found out when I called Vodacom that an Apple iPhone was delivered to me on 25 /04 in Durban. I told the consultant that I did not order an uprade and I do not leave in Durban and have not received a phone. I was advised to open a ***** case which I did and I sent the necessary documents to Vodacom on 14/05. In June Vodacom debited my account for the upgrade that I have already told them I did not take and have a opened a ***** case with them. I called Vodacom about this and as usual another reference number. Within an hour of my call I received an sms from Vodacom congratulating me on new contract. I received an sms in July confirming that the debit order has been successfully removed on my contract. In August I received an sms to pay R 3122 for the new contract which I refused to pay because I believe I don't owe Vodacom that money, they can go get from the person they gave the phone to. Vodacom has now blocked my number and I can not receive or make calls making my life difficult because this is the number I use for banking. Thanks for nothing Vodacom. Before you send me you automated response that you will contact me just know that this email was sent from an internet cafe since I no longer have that on a phone but you're more than welcome to contact me on my new Boza number.
