Vodacom Power to Who?
I was contacted by a telemarketer from Mondo on behalf of Vodac over three months ago, who (regrettably) sold a data deal to me that gives me a Wifi USB router plus 2GB of data for R109p/m. I received the goods a couple of days later. After I realised that the 2GB data wasn't getting added to my existing line I cancelled immediately. This was done within 2 weeks of receiving the goods - which is, as I understand - the cutoff period to cancel without incurring costs.

After contacting various people at Vodacom, I was told that the contract would be cancelled and that the goods collected from my work address... but nothing has happened.

I've noticed that I have been charged R109, even though the data service was supposed to have been cancelled.

I've tried to phone Mondo, but there's no answer. I've been to three Vodacoms for assistance and they tell me that it's out of their hands as it was Mondo who sold me the deal (even though it's a Vodacom contract).

I'm so fed up with this bad service that I am now seriously thinking of not renewing my contract at the end of the year. Their payoff line says Power to You, but I feel totally PowerLESS after being sent from pillar to post.
