VODACOM -POOR SUPPORT

A cell phone contract was ********** activated to my account without my knowledge or authorization. Anyone has access to data such as ID documents, personal details etc however I expect a company like Vodacom to have a sufficient firewall to prevent *****. They opened my account without any checks, authorized a debit order. When I called, the operator was very helpful but the system did not help as Vodacom do not have an emergency response plan. I had to go to the police station and get an affidavit before I could get them to give me a case number. I took a day off work to do this. It has been almost 2 days and no reaction since the complaint was laid.

Can somebody help me or is the legal route my only option.

I am currently accountable for these debit orders. Two months already taken off in one single payment on 01 August. This is the only way I found the deviation.
