Vodacom poor service

I have been trying to cancel a WiFi contract with Vodacom since September 2021, I have been promised the contact is cancelled and last billing will be for end of October. The November billing does not reflect the cancellation. The contract must be cancelled and November billing retracted.

In response to the above review on Vodacom: the customer service consultant called me on Thursday November 4 but I was unable to answer, I also received a text message stating the attempted response from this person. I called back later in the day but the number is to the general enquiries of Vodacom customer care. Meanwhile my husband logged a complaint-query at a Vodacom store, on the same day; he received a reference number this time as previously I had only received text messages stating that the contract is not cancelled yet: 27 September, 11 October (after I had logged a follow-up query due to the continued billing for October).
The consultant reassured me that the contract will be cancelled and last billing is 31 October. This was not true as the billing for November again reflects an active contract. I hereby request from Vodacom a retraction of the billing, a refund if necessary, and an immediate cancellation of this contract. This customer service and lack of action and wasting of customers time in being forced to navigate these issues is quite disgraceful.

Many thanks. Account issue resolved. I would, however, like to express my disappointment that customers, who loyally support Vodacom, are forced to resort to a public review platform (whose efficacy is outstanding) in order to resolve account queries.
