Vodacom poor service and ****ming

I am struggling for the last few months with intermittent connectivity.

I have been to the Vodacom store, phoned your call centre, phoned the cancellations, all to no avail.

I am being sent from pillar to post.

Firstly, I entered the contract with the understanding that it was uncapped data.

A few months later, upon calling Vodacom, I was advised that the deal had changed and that it is no longer capped. Apparently Vodacom customers had been informed and was given a grace period to cancel the contract.

I was not aware of this and had not received any notification. If you are going to tell me that I had been informed, kindly produce the evidence thereof as no one else is able to.

Secondly, I was then informed that after a certain amount of usage, the line will be throttled.

My line does not only get throttled, it also has no connectivity AT ALL.

I was informed to contact the cancellation department to enquire about the cancelling of this contract as I am not happy with the service and the fact that I signed up for a deal that Vodacom is NOT complying with.

The cancellation department informed me that I will be penalised but that I should contact the customer care to inform them that I want to cancel without penalty charges as the contract is NOT what I signed up for.

Upon contacting customer care, I was informed they do not know why the cancellation department referred me to them.

P.S. just spoke to another consultant now, that informed me that when Vodacom gave the customers the "option" to cancel, that the applicable early cancellation would have still kicked in. Upon telling him that does not sound like an "option" as that is part of the T&C's I was informed that i want to "weasel"my way out. NICE!

WHAT MUST I DO TO GET PROPER SERVICE PLEASE?

PLEASE REFER TO ALL MY CALLS COMPLAINING ABOUT MY NON-EXISTENT INTERNET!!
