Vodacom poor pathetic service
Hi Vodacom once again proving poor customer service
Here we go again with my wifi not connecting. We had this problem numerous times this year. The last time was beginning September month and it took between Vodacom & Vamatel more than 2 weeks to sort the problem .My children are doing home school and busy with final exams and wifi is a great role in home schooling. Not sure what is going to happen with there exams with no wifi.Ive been numerous times on this platform complaining about there poor service cant believe we going threw the same problem again.Lets see how many weeks we will be without wifi.Easy to debit my account for payment but no refund when there is no service available
Poor pathetic service from Vodacom
Day 2 no wifi connection. I will be posting on this platform daily updates.Lets see how long it takes to fix the problem. Usually it is weeks before something is sorted.By now i know the drill the blame is going to move between Vodacom and Vumatel blaming each other.Always excuses no solution

Day 3 still no wifi connection. After receiving numerous calls and just receiving empty promises like usual. My kids is writing end exams and they need the wifi.I had to take them to family members yesterday to go and study.Vodacom please check your records how many times this problem actually happens of often and it takes every time weeks to resolve. I think your account department should go into this and i should receive a credit for this.Maybe it is better to involve my lawyer because Vodacom is in breach of contract.

I am submitting this as a formal complaint regarding a prolonged service outage and repeated failure by your team to resolve the issue or provide any meaningful feedback.
Date outage began 3 November 2025 till current date 11 November 2025.And this isn't the first time. The same problem accured in September 2025,February 2025 and December 2024
---
Summary of the Problem
We have now been without Wi-Fi for 9 consecutive days. I have called multiple times and only received empty promises that the issue will be fixed “soon,” but no one provides a clear resolution timeline.
My children are currently writing their end-of-year exams and rely heavily on this connection to study. Due to the ongoing outage, I had to drive them to family members to use their internet and buy data packages. This has caused unnecessary stress, fuel expenses, and severe disruption to our home routine.
---
Breach of Contract & Poor Service History
This is not the first time I’ve experienced such delays. Your records should show that outages like this have occurred before, often taking weeks to resolve. Such repeated service failures, along with the lack of transparent communication, amount to a breach of your service agreement.
---
What I Require
1. Immediate restoration of my Wi-Fi service.
2. A written explanation of what caused the outage and what steps are being taken to prevent it from happening again.
3. A credit or refund for the days the service has been unavailable since January 2024
4. A formal case number confirming that this complaint is logged as a breach-of-contract investigation.
If my situation is not sorted asap I will escalate it to the Ombudsman for Telecommunications and consider legal action for breach of contract and service negligence.
---
I expect a written response acknowledging this complaint and a clear action plan.
