Vodacom poor Customer Service - Bad wifi coverage in LincolnMeade, Pietermaritzburg

I am very angry and disappointed in Vodacom's Customer Service. I have been dealing with Vodacom for years now but when I took out a wifi contract with them a while ago I have since then has poor connection issues especially over the last year and a half. I have phoned many time, spoken to team leaders, one of the Khanyisile who still hasn't come back to me even after emailing a few times. I have been emailing customer services and phoning speaking to various people complaining about the poor signal problem where I live.

When I took out my Wi-Fi contracts no one from Vodacom asked what area I live in to see what the coverage would be like which should have been asked before I took out a contract. Why I know this, is that I went to MTN a while ago just as a matter of interest to see what offers they had and the first thing they asked me is where I live which Vodacom did not do

I have been complaining for months now since last year and every time I get told the technicians are working on getting better coverage. nothing changed. eventually they sent out a guy Sibisiso to come to my home and test the coverage and he even said that the coverage is not good. he said he was going to get the technicians to come out to the tower in my area to have a look and still no change, in fact its become worse. I got hold of Sibosiso again and asked for an update and he said that I must get a booster for my router which I think is absurd as this should have been given to me by Vodacom if the router they gave me wasn't good enough for coverage. I explained this to Sibosiso and he said he was going to email his management as he also felt that Vodacom should have asked me what area I live in before signing me up. I pay a lot of money in contracts to Vodacom and I expect decent coverage. I phoned Sibosiso again this morning 07.09.20 for an update and he said he has also had no response to his email as I have also had no further response after emailing customer services a few times and he said I should report this matter to Vodacom as this is shocking service

I do not feel that I (the Customer) should have to buy a booster for my router, Vodacom should have given me one that works properly

when emailing customer service I have asked for a managers email address and I have was never given one and now they don't even respond and the times that I have phoned now during lock down I cant get through because most people are working from home

this has been a ongoing issue for months now and now I am fed up with the service that I am getting. I pay over R2000.00 per month to Vodacom and I am shocked that they feel nothing in making sure there Customer service is good

please can something be done as I am definitely a very unhappy customer and so are a lot of Vodacom customers that live in my area as well as our signal is not good

my cell number (Telkom) is *** and the contract number for Vodacom is ***
