Vodacom Poor and ********* service

On 16 January 2023, I took my Samsung Z3fold to Vodacom Garden Route George. I explained to the lady who assisted me that the main screen of the phone is leaking ink. When you open the phone the middle of the screen shows ink and is not working. She took my phone and booked it in for repairs. She looked at the phone and nowhere mentioned any other visible damage to the phone, except when I told her what the problem is with the main screen when opening it. Vodacom contacted me to accept a quote of R 16776.81 for repairs which I declined. This was a factory phone problem and I was not responsible for the damage. Then they said they will review it. The next call was that I can come and collect my phone, leaving me under the impression that it was fixed. I received my phone back with damage to the front screen - looks as if the phone fell. They said I must pay for repairs because the phone fell. The phone did not have that damage upon handing in for repair. This can be confirmed because the lady who took the phone did not record anywhere that the front screen is damaged. Vodacom just said I let the phone fall and that is why I should pay for the damage on the main screen. The front screen of my phone was damaged between me handing it in and them handing it back. I'm sitting with an expensive phone which I cannot repair and which is not my fault. They advised me to see a lawyer. I am very very very upset with the way Vodacom assisted me and just blatantly decided that I must pay for the repairs. They are ********* and not professional

When I handed in my phone there was no physical damage to the phone. The main screen started splitting, causing the ink to flow. I could not do that damage. The front screen has damage, but that was NOT like that when I handed it in. I got the phone back un-repaired with extra damage. I will not accept this outcome. The main screen is the problem, and I want to phone where you see that the main screen is maliciously damaged to cause the ink on the phone.
