Vodacom, please do not market any HP products!
Upgraded vodacom contract to a HP 15 notebook on Saturday the 5th of May for my kids, on that same day the unit started freezing up and screen went black, took it back to Vodacom Chatz in Tygervalley Cape Town, the next day. A tech confirmed the unit was faulty. They then wanted to send the unit back for repairs, (like really!!!) and I insisted on an exchange. Got hold of Hp's rep, Sandile, who promised that he would do an exchange that monday (the 7th). Since then Vodacom Chatz reported and did the request to Hp's call centre. So after being promised we will have the new unit on monday, It is now wednesday the 9th, ,I've now been told the faulty unit first has to be collected by courier, sent to George for assessment, if exchange approved, a new unit will be sent from HP head office..... The faulty unit is still lying at Vodacom Chatz Tygervalley, wednesday afternoon the 9th at 16h47!!! I had to do all the following up, NOBODY contacted me back, evne thought I received lots of promises!!!
