Vodacom please come to the party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 issues:

1) Away from home this week, I needed data to use on my phone and as a hotspot for my Laptop. I purchased 1g data for R1. At first, I was just using the data on my phone and all was well, however, I tried to use it as a hotspot and it didn't want to work, continued with my day and later, when I checked my messages, realised that there were no messages / emails, which I found strange. When I reached my destination and the phone connected to the wifi, all my messages came through!

Didn't give it much thought as I was busy.......

Tried this again, this time, paid R5 for 1G, same thing happened!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, I contacted the call centre and was told that my settings needed to be updated and the agent did it and asked me to restart the phone & also that she would give the money that I paid for this back in airtime on my contract.

This morning I had a healthy R4.26 Anytime airtime balance on phone! Thank you to Vuyokazi Monica........ but: a) R1+R5 = R6? b) In this case, it is not about the value, but I) The inconvenience ii) Frustration iii) The time it took me to contact you when I eventually could! iv) the fact that the data which I had purchased, did not work when I needed it!!!!!!!!!!!! v) Is this the norm with your " deals "?

2) My due date to pay my contract, I do it manually via eft, payment date = last day of the month...... If the last day falls on a weekend, I pay the account on the first business day thereafter and it is marked as a late payment??????????????

This is not on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It affects my credit score & that is tangible!!!!!!!!!

But, Vodacom gets away with the fact that they say if you pay your bill, you get rewarded VODABUCKS!!!!!!!! So, this should be earned monthly, once a bill is settled, right? Wishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a hit & miss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You''ll get rewarded vodabucks once in mayb 3-6 months for settling your bill! Recourse / Repercussions to VODACON????????????? NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
