Vodacom Platinum Membership must be a joke

One of our business lines has been meeting the Platinum threshold for at least 4 years but has never received an invite.

In the past, I tried to find out more about the platinum membership, the sales consultants didn't know what I was talking about, the online support had no idea either. There was no brochure / promotion / any kind of info.

Last month, I finally found some info and managed to speak to a consultant in the Platinum department (after speaking to three other people first). Anyway, the consulatant I spoke to said they do new intakes in March and he would call me on 06 March between 9:30 and 17:30 to follow up. He was also going to forward the contract information to the analysis department to check because he coud;n't tell me why we had not received and invite.

No call from him. So today I called again and spoke to someone different who said they can't do anything about it and they have nothing to do with inviting new members and we need to qualify before we get an invite. I explained that we HAVE been qualifying, for at least 4 years. The consultant said I must call back on the 1st April when they do new intakes and follow up then. But they can't do anything.

So, my question is, what is the point of having this Platinum (and Onyx - which I found out about today) membership scheme if 1. there is no readily available info and the consultants are not trained on it and 2. a person cannot query / escalate the issue of quailfying but not recieving an invite??

HOW DO WE GET A PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP IF BEING A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND SPENDING THOUSANDS OR RANDS EACH MONTH IS NOT ENOUGH???
