Vodacom Persistent Spam Calling

I have blocked all of these spam-calling serial -pest numbers on TrueCaller. Can the MyVodacom application not be a better utility to advertise or notify your users? Rather disseminate information an notices so that customers can react if they are interested.

Phone calling is annoying and is an immediate invasion of privacy, especially the frequency of re-tries and the flat-out persistence if the call is intentionally dropped.

The rate of calling can get up to 20-30 times a day from either one of these numbers: ********** ********** ********** ********** **********

Thank you, Dean (Vodacom) for calling me. Vodacom can suppress marketing calls to your mobile number and they have agreed to do so for me. As a Vodacom customer, I would much rather use the myVodacom application. And, you are welcome to send me messages in there to alert me to services and all sorts of things you are excited about. It will also respect my time and inclination to change.

Dear Vodacom, despite assuring me that you will put my number on the "don't call this guy" list, the calling has resumed. This morning I have already had calls at 08h35 (Mondo Vodacom 031**7400), 08h53 (Vodacom 031**6700), and 09h31 (Vodacom 087**4296). Yesterday at 10h06 (vodacom 087**9496). These are blocked by TruCaller, but they still buzz the phone. What will it take to get you to stop this?

And again they start calling from 031**6700 today. There does not appear to be coordination between the right and left hand. For a communications company, I would assume communications to be your core competency. I suppose that is why you like calling so much, but it does not explain why the internal communication is a complete disconnect. Will you stop if I answer to say I don't want the free phone that comes with a 24-month contract, or the data bundle, or the other contract, or the TV, toaster, or whatever it is you want to sell me every other week?

I have also verified, using myVodacom, under My details > Maname my notifications that Marketing consent is not selected. Is this not where I have the opportunity to opt into being informed about Vodacom promotions and competitions? I have also not selected a channel to notify me on "When I log into My Vodacom, notify me" yet I get an SMS when I do. It seems the myVodacom application does not work properly. What should I do people?
