Vodacom - Pay back the Money Part 2
Great work Vodacom, sending automated responses but don't actually contact your client. Amazing way to aggravate and already angry client

Vodacom - Pay back the Money
I have been a client of Vodacom for many years. I have been a big supporter because of the excellent service. This however seems to be failing of late.
My debit orders with Vodacom has always been, in my opinion whenever they feel like it. In Oct/Nov 2019 I changed my debit order date to the 25th of each. Something I've asked Vodacom to do so many times, I can't even count.
They eventually changed the debit order, but to 21/11/19 as we know this is 4 days before payday. Due to lack of funds in my account for the debit order, it bounced. Vodacom charged me a penalty fee and so did FNB.
I complained and told them that I had on 3 separate occasions with 3 different mediums changed the date to the 25th, and now they want to debit 4 days before payday. 1. With in store consultant, when I did my upgrade 2. With the Tobi Robot online & 3. With a consultant over the phone.
Vodacom credit my account with their penalty fee they charged however, FNB wouldn't do the same. I feel Vodacom needs to credit my account with penalty fee FNB changed me because changing the debit order to the wrong date after 3 requests is just unacceptable and ***********.
They said it would happen the first time I called. This call was escalated and nothing happened. I called again, that call was also escalated and guess what still nothing. The 3rd time I called the consultant assured me that it would be sorted out, all I needed to do was send my account statement as proof of FNB charging me a penalty because of Vodacom's incompetence. I sent the statement on 09/01/2020 Today I called again and was kept on hold while the consultant tried to figure out what is happening and what the solution will be. After 27min of this he said he would call me back in an hour. I gave him 2 hours, giving the benefit of the doubt. Now 4 hours later, still no word.
I am absolutely finished with Vodacom.
- Also, viewing my invoice today I saw that I am being charged for 2 handsets ***ning only one) I blew up at the consultant, only to be told it's because of an early upgrade. Vodacom, please train your staff to let your customers know that they will keep paying the handset fee for a phone they don't use because of an early upgrade. 3 more months of paying for something I don't use. If you train your employees, they might take less abuse from angry clients, who feel like they are being suckered into paying for nothing.
