Vodacom Pathetic Unprofessional Service

Hello

I have an existing device with Vodacom with a monthly bundle which i took out 1 November 2017 - the contract is up 31 October 2019 so i called in on 23 September 2019 to cancel the contract for end October - it was logged and i was told that it is done and will expire on the date.

early October when i checked in with vodacom i was told it expires end November only which i said is incorrect and i lodged a complain query - i was told they will call me to sort, someone from Vodacom Business called and the call dropped during our discussion. the person who called never called back. today 4 October i called in again and the customer care agent with cancellations said the contract started 1 November 2017 so it only expires 30 November 2019 ??? how is that possible for a 2 year contract ? she was arguing with me that this is 2 years despite me saying thats 2 years and one month

i told her when i cancelled someone there didnt do there job properly which is why i am now told the contract ends 30 November 2019

she said she would call me back and i have never heard back from her since this morning

Vodacoms service is disgusting and arrogant and they think they can bully you around and charge what they like when they like - this agent was unprofessional and didnt bother calling me back - i am the client why should i always have to call them

further to my earlier review I spoke to the Vodacom Cancellations and I said my contract was 2 years starting 1 November 2017 so it expires 31 October 2019 - these people tell me no the expiry is 1 November 2019 / so I say that is 2 years and 1 day and they tell me no that is 2 years and that's Vodacom Policy / I get debited on 7th of the month for previous month so on 7 November 2019 I get debited for the October usage - now because they say the contract ends on 1 November 2019 I will be debited on 7 December 2019 for a monthly fee which I say is incorrect because I gave notice to terminate the contract on 2 years which is 31 October 2019

it would seem that if this is Vodacom Policy they are breaking the law because they are forcing people on the basis of 1 extra day to pay an extra month - my data contract is R249 a month so that means of 1000 people like me are having the same thing done to them they are making R249000 from people on *******ly saying a 2 year contract runs from 1 November 2017 and ends on 1 November 2019 which is WRONG end date is 31 October 2019

Good day

I have checked my Vodacom account and as i expected this problem has not been solved. The person who called had some story i would be credited after 1 November but this is not correct, suddenly instead of having a billing of R249 which was my monthly fee on the contract i am now charged R503 and have a credit for R282.45 so i am still being forced to pay R220.93 for an extra month which i never asked for. my 2 year contract started on 1 November 2017 and terefor finished on 31 October 2019. I gave more than one month notice to stop the contract, someone didnt do their job so now i get told it runs to end November and i must pay. Vodacom is a joke and their customer service is appalling
