Vodacom Pathetic service

Want to cancel my contract with Vodacom, I contacted them they send me cancellation forms and amounts to be paid, I paid the amount emailed them, did not receive any after five days as they promised to call within five of receiving cancellation forms. They take me from pillar to post and now, I recieved a message few days after that which said my number has been successfully migrated to prepaid, and I today I received a statement that shows my due amount nothing about whether the contract has been cancelled or not,
