Vodacom pathetic customer service
I recently took out a cellphone contract with Vodacom and later cancelled it due to the worst service ever received. I did not use the phone at all and returned it back to Vodacom. I am now being charged R668 for a contract that I cancelled and returned back to Vodacom. I wait over 30 minutes to get hold of an agent and still no response. This is absolute disgusting service from Vodacom.

Today is the 24 May and as per your response on 12 May, to date my query has still not been resolved. When I contacted the accounts department I am told that there is an outstanding balance of R279,11. This cannot be possible as I received the phone on 26 April and cancelled on 27 April which is well within the 14 day period. Each time I call the number *** I am told that I did not cancel the contract, I only returned the device but also had to cancel the contract, however when dealing with the social media team I was assured that the minute the device was checked back into the warehouse the contract would be cancelled. The device was checked into the warehouse on 04 May 2021. Apparently the credit was only processed on 17 May but I still owe R279,11 which cannot be as I cancelled the very next day without using the device. I still have another contract that I am paying and because Vodacom has added both contracts to ne account I am now being told that my account is in arrears when I pay my other contract (R130) every month. Please can you assist me in closing this out as soon as possible.
