Vodacom - Overcharging and EXTREMELY Bad Service

On Sunday, 4 September 2016, I entered into a contract with Vodacom at the Game Store in Zevenwacht.

I was informed that only R97.00 connection fee as well as R249.00 for one month subscription will be deducted within 48 hours.

An amount of R392.00 was deducted on 7 September 2016 instead of the initial R350.00 as agreed.

This resulted in following:

1. The debit order being returned due to insufficient funds;

2. The bank penalising me for an unpaid debit order – R90.00;

3. Vodacom penalising me for an unpaid debit order – R100.00

I subsequently called the Vodacom call centre and spoke to a Supervisor called Vuyo. She asked me to pay the R350 and also to send a copy of the contract as well as my bank steatement. She said that they will refund me for the R90 bank charges, and recover the rest from Game.

The amount due was paid at a Vodacom Store and the correspondence requested was mailed to Vuyo.

It was also followed up with a call some time after but up till now no response was received.

On 23 November 2016, the cells was switched off.

Your urgent response in this matter would be highly appreciated.

Regards

Marlon Issel
