Vodacom overcharge (***** against Customers)

Vodacom has been charging me on a monthly basis for a contract and some electronic device that I know absolutely nothing about: 1. A monthly charge of R150 for 24 months iro of a number that I never had and never used. When I discovered this I cancelled my debit order and paid my monthly contract fee via EFT. They kept on charging despite numerous calls, a ***** report and countless emails. Needless to say they did nothing except start threatening me due to arrears on my account. 2. On renewing my contract we found a R39 pm charge, for last two years that no-one can tell me what it was for. Now my arrears start increasing due to point 1 and 2.

These issues were raised with Accounts, Customer care and the Vodacom store in Cradle Stone mall. No response, no assistance and no support to sort out their *****ulent charges to my account. You cannot speak to an individual that is willing to help, cannot get through to any senior staff. To all Vodacom users - check your account they overcharge and charge incorrect additional charges. As you pay by debit order they collect the invoice amount - beware Vodacom is not an honest business to deal with, no customer service and no assistance to sort out their own mistakes or well planned over charges. I can proof every statement above via the call records and numerous emails to them.

So typical of terrible customer service. Very quick to respond to Help Peter review, probably an automated reply.
I did receive a call from an agent. After telling them the whole story again she promised to investigate and revert back.
Needless to say that to date absolute nothing has happened.

Even after Vodacom telling me via telephone that they are resolving the issue, i today two weeks later again received a final demand via email threatening to cut my service.
Let this be a warning to all potential Vodacom customers. Stay away as far as possible. They overcharge your account and then can,'t or don't want to resolve the issue. They believe by threatening they will get you to back down.

In response to your private message. Why was this private let the public see how Vodacom de***** clients. I don't know what tracking device you are talking about. I never ever used a Vodacom tracking device and definitely was not installed on my phone or receive such device from your store.
You also conveniently not respond to the additional 06something number that was charged at R150 per month for two years to my account. This happened at same store with same contract. This was reported to your ***** team and they also referred me to this store with no further actions.
Pathetic.
