VODACOM - OUTSOURCED CALL CENTRE MONDIAL MOBILE **********

This is actually a very unfortunate event that spoils relationships between entities that have operated smoothly but then a third party - Mondial Mobile steps up to destroy good faith and relations.

Reason for involving Vodacom is because that is what is advertised and offered and there has to be some SLA in place as a contracted supplier of Vodacom.

I recently took up the offer from this telemarketing centre on a router with 5 GIG data at R 199 per month. Its a standard deal that is offered across all networks. I have several Vodacom contracts ongoing and even though I'm reluctant to take up offers from a telemarketing centre, I trusted it to be legit because it is contracted company servicing Vodacom products.

I took up the recorded offer because a Microsoft Office 365 one year subscription was offered with it. Bonus...I was just in the market for it.

Delivery was more than a week late - the agent got my address details wrong - Acceptableto a degree.

RAM Couriers delivered the router at my home address and I discovered that there was no Office 365.

I make a call to ********** and I was told that they are aware of the situation - apologies but my query will be escalated and I can expect a call back the following day with a resolve.

No call received and a week later, I call Mondial again.

We start the whole query again as if nothing was reported before. Surprisingly, the operator has access to all my information with Vodacom and even discusses a contract with me that I had taken up since.

This time I'm promised that they are looking into my query and I can expect a call within 48 hours.

This is just passing on calls - there is NOTHING to look into. I did not receive my Office 365 subscription! Very simple - send it, that's all.

Clearly, I dont believe it will be resolved. This is theft under false pretence. I pay for a packaged product and only receive half of it while still paying full price.

Obviously Vodacom should know about this and take action against a contractor who is now ruining brand

reputation and reliability. Entities like this cause consumer insecurity and the greater result means jobs that are lost due to consumers not believing in these type of deals.

I am eager to hear from Vodacom what their view is on this type of contractor conduct and or Mondial themselves.
