Vodacom - Out of Service, Out of mind?

I posted the below Facebook status on 13 January 2017

"Vodacom's call centre and accounts department is absolutely horrific! I am being diverted from one department to another, neither of which is able to assist me appropriately. I have been billed incorrectly from August 2016 and have been seeking assistance to rectify the matter ever since. Nobody is able to sort this out. Not to mention that I have been without service! I have been patient and understanding because mistakes happen, but the fact that this cannot be dealt with effectively each time I attempt to reconcile the issue, is taking my composure to a whole new level. I am at my wits end with the incompetence! If anybody is able to provide a contact person to help resolve this, I'd really appreciate it "

I recieved a phone call from Vodacom's social media department on 17 January 2017, followed by an email stating that the matter has been logged with the social media escalations team, who will contact me within 1-2 working days.

It is 5 working days later, and I have yet to be contacted by the said team. Furthermore, I had requested the contact information of persons belonging to this escalations team, only to be told that the information cannot be provided. No reason given.

I am still without service, however, I receive daily emails reminding me that my account has been softlocked.

If only Vodacom's customer service was as prompt as the automated reminders are.
