Vodacom Online Upgrade - Dismal efficiency

Upgrading with Vodacom online is an absolute nightmare. Absolutely dismal. The issues are as follows: 1) When picking an upgrade which is clearly marked as "in stock" the feedback after delay in delivery is that in fact there is no stock whatsoever. When this is issues was raised on the ********** 4 help line the feedback was " The online site was not updated" which just means that upgrading online is useless, it's better to go into an outlet and just hear what is in stock. 2) The confirmation was sent to an incorrect email address. Although the bills find their way to the correct address, somehow the confirmation email for and upgrade make it's way to an incorrect address. 3) Not only is the confirmation email sent to the wrong address, the upgrade products that was marked as in stock that actually was not, but the online website is unable to provide any record of the upgrade being ordered under "order history". No feedback that there is no stock, I had to phone the helpline to find out that there was no stock. 4) You have to wait 30 minutes over the phone for someone to tell you they cannot sort out your problem and that the call must be transferred to a another department only to receive the same feedback.

This is my second online upgrade experience with Vodacom and I am sad to say that both occasions were terrible. Of all the online orders and companies I am involved with I have only had cause to complain about Vodacom. There will not be a third time.
