Vodacom Online Sales Fails Customer Experience

On the 1st of November I contacted Vodacom Online to process an Upgrade on one of my lines. The sales lady took me through the whole process and even asked me for the deliver address of where I would be during the week as she advised me that the courier companies use don't deliver over weekends.

Today the 5th of November I receive an SMS with my tracking number and stating that it will be delivered by 5pm. During the course of the morning the SkyNet driver contacts me asking if I my address is correct as per his delivery note. This address is the old address which I used 6 years ago.

So even after giving the correct address to the sales lady at the beginning of this transaction, Vodacom just went with an old address captured on the system anyway. This is absolutely pathetic!

This shows there is a broken process within Vodacom and that the departments work in silos.

I will not recommend Vodacom Online Sales department as they only focus on the number of New Lines/Upgrades they can do per day and not the quality and customer experience.
