Vodacom Online Promotions

On the evening of 4 August I saw a Promotion on Vodacom's Application and confirmed the deal on their Website. A 100G / 100g Data line with a FREE Samsung 40" Smart TV. All well, signed up and received a notification that my deal was approved and my parcel will be shipped. Oh and by the way, the next morning the deal was removed from their website!!!!!! I was later told that Voucher Deals is always an issue with Vodacom.

I received my Router, SIM Card and Samsung Voucher via Courier (RAM) on 11 August 2020 in a small box. NO TV. Decided to open the box infront of the RAM Representative. Router, Sim Card and a Samsung TV Voucher. We were SUPER excited!!!!! Had no idea how my excitement will changed into huge frustration in 24 hours time. Every item stipulated on my invoice, incl my Samsung 40" Smart TV. All the instructions to redeem my Smart TV was on the back of the Voucher. Contacted Virtual Voucher Africa and was told I should contact a different number which I did. Virtual Voucher Africa has a pre-recorded Message saying that it was indeed Virtual Voucher Africa. I contacted the new number given. It was a Courier Company. The Cat and Mouse games started. Vodacom, VVA, other nr, etc, etc. I decided to go into the Vodacom store Canal Walk after work and found the store to be closed. Manage to speak to a manager and was told that I can redeem it directly from Samsung. Samsung was also closed. On the morning of 12 Aug 2020 contacted Samsung Call Centre and was told THEY do not know of a Samsung Smart TV deal and I should contact Vodacom again. Which I did. I was given an email to the Online Dept Admin Office and received a ticket nr. Now we are waiting.

WHY IS IT THAT NO-ONE AT VODACOM IS AWARE OF THIS DEAL. I WAS TOLD THIS MORNING BY A VODACOM REPRESENTATIVE THAT THESE VOUCHERS IS ALWAYS AN ISSUE. THEN WHY PROMOTING IT.

I have signed up for this deal for the TV. If getting the TV is an issue then they might as while cancel the contract.
