Vodacom online is ******** people if their money

My boyfriend got a call from Vodacom offering him a Oppo phone or an IPhone 8 so he chose the iPhone 8 which was for me fine he did the whole process and the phone got delivered in like 5 days only to find out it was a Second hand iphone 8 and the lady did not tell him that its a second hand phone so I told him it's I don't want cause he can't pay R11 000 in total for a second hand iphone 8 he called and asked that phone to be returned the courier came and fetched the phone fine and we went to a Vodacom store only to find out the contract hasn't been canceled yet but the give him a refund all this is happening on December 2022 then boom on the first week of January they debited R700 and he has been calling but not getting his money back or help sometimes when he calls the consultant is busy greeting someone on the other side other consultants say that they don't sell second phones so they don't understand his query he's been calling everyday to get his refund , also I don't understand why R700 was debited but he canceled the contract in December and why are the debuting R700 but the phone was gonna be R400 per month I am very disappointed in Vodacom online cause he is now struggling get another phone and that R700 is alot of money especually in January
