<p>upon signing up for a new contract with vodacom on black friday. I was told that i would be contacted within 24 hours to confirm the order. after that the following occured</p> <p>1. i was not called but sent an sms saying i should call the online department.</p> <p>2. i called on a saturday at around 1:30pm(note this time) and waited on hold for around fourty five minutes to get through to a consultant. eventually getting fed up of waiting i called through to customer care who informed me that the online department closes at 2:00 pm on a saturday. why was my call not answered in the half an hour i was on hold for while they were "still open".</p> <p>3. i called back on sunday morning and spoke to a consultant and confirmed everything with her. i received the sms saying that everything was approved and got a order number.</p> <p>4. the website told me i was going to get free next day delivery. i wait for delivery and nothing. Tuesday nothing. Wednesday nothing. </p> <p>5. all the time trying to see the status of my order on vodacoms website "track my order" piece of **** which probably isnt working, and receiving no results of my order.</p> <p>6. this morning(thursday) i finally decide to see whats going on and phone in to customer care. firstly i have to wait forever to get through to a consultant(probably around 20 minutes on that try). when getting through i am told that she sees no record of my order on her side and suggests i phone the sales department to enquire. i am then given the wrong number for the sales department and waited on hold for another 20 minutes to get through to that department only to be told they cant help me. i was rthen transferred to vodacom online department, which has no option to select if you would like to query your order, the other queries option just redirects you to customer care again. so i select the option to take out a new contract, just so i can speak to someone, after waiting on hold for another ten ,minutes i am then automatically put through to the vodacom upgrades and told i dont qualoify for an upgrade and then automatically redirected to customer care once again. i then received a call from a consultant who wanted to know if my problem had been seen to and after explaining what i wanted, she asked for my order number and said she would phone back in a few minutes. it is now 1 hour and 40 minutes later and i have still not been contacted. i still dont know the status of my order and if i phone back now, ill probably have to wait on hold for even longer to get to speak to someone and then get transferred around some more. </p> <p>7. while waiting for the consultant to call back now i have been doing some research on vodacoms delivery policy and the claimed "free next day delivery" which you get only applies to people in major cities and only if you order at certain times. why promise somrthing and tell me im gonna get it if clearly im not going to? </p> <p> </p> <p>all i wanna know is when the ****** hell am i gonna get my phone???</p> <p>it really shouldnt take this long and be so difficult.</p> <p>you claim to be the fastest network( i know that refers to network speeds) but god****it youre slow with your service.</p> <p> </p>
