Vodacom Online

Last week Wednesday 24 May 2017 i saw a deal on Vodacom online. Completed online application. On Thursday 25 May 2017, I called Vodacom online ( ********** 4) regarding same, app was processed and was advised laptop and modem would be delivered in a few days. I called asked the lady (Nicolene) to confirm the colour and make of the laptop on the deal and she didnt know - she subsequently checked the online deal and confirmed it was RED (WHICH IS WHAT IS ADVERTISED ONLINE).

After spending some time on the internet, I realised the advertised laptop specs and actual laptop showing online dont match, I called again and I was reassured its a RED DELL laptop and that there is a 7 day return policy should i not be happy with it. I specifcally made it clear that if the laptop is not identical to the one advertised online - I DO NOT WANT IT.

On the evening of Thursday (26/05/ 2017 - 17:14) laptop was delivered - only to find out it was nothing like the RED (what looks like a HP laptop) advertised online. I immediately called the contact centre again and requested for a return and cancellation of transaction and was assured courier would come collect in a few days.

Called again on Friday (26/05/2017 - 14:50) to check when the courier will be coming to collect and was told it wakes 3-5/7 working days for the collection. I asked the agent whether the contract has been cancelled and was told that is the case since i have clearly indicated on my cancellation request,

Called again on Monday (29/05/2017 - 09:06) following up on this and a gentleman named Ashley told me a request has been logged and the courier will be in touch with me to arrange collection. He also indicated that i should expect a "v2p" on sms confirming same.

Today i called again on Tuesday (30/05/2017 - 10:02), spoke to Ashley again. and he told he that the cancellation request has been sent and i should send an email ********** to request "v2p" and that i should quote my order number and RAM reference number - which I did at 10:18.

At 20:39 - a debit order went off my account. I am livid.

1. I have been with Vodacom for as long as I can remember - I am a loyal customer

2. I am so disappointed with the level of service and it is unacceptable

3. Its shocking that I now have to deal with some unkown 3rd Party (likeminds) when my primary SP is Vodacom

Sort this out. I am taking this matter further.
