VODACOM - ongoing 5 month battle !

VODACOM - 5 month on-going battle.

On the 14th September, 2016, I signed my first contract with Vodacom.

Previously I had only had prepaid airtime. The contract was signed at the Westgate Branch of Vodacom. They assisted me in transferring all my info onto the new phone and I assumed that the BLACKBERRY was now obsolete.

On the 21st September, I went in to Vodacom, Westgate, again, to advise them that I had been charged R59, which had been deducted from my airtime balance, for a Blackberry subscription –which I no longer had. Jose requested a refund via e-mail and said they would respond via SMS. They didn’t.

Between then and now, VODACOM have taken off R59 monthly (5 times), in spite of calls from me to the store manager – Tammy – on numerous occasions !

I have e-mailed / phoned and been in to the store. On the 12th December I spoke to Sipho at Vodacom and she logged a complaint with ALL the details. Ref No: 1-1 ********** 00359. Again I was assured that they would rectify the problem and refund me. I wasn’t contacted – nor refunded.

I have the dates / times / names of all the people I have spoken to or e-mailed, and what they said.

Is there perhaps a ‘Service Provider Adjudicator’ who can assist me to resolve this?

It isn’t a lot of money (R295) but the amount of time and frustration involved is HUGE.
