Vodacom One Number ordeal

Vodacom One Number - trying for three months now to get One Number to work on my Apple Watch. Sent from pillar to post between my local Vodacom shop and Vodacom call centre. Still no joy. Latest is that I need to go back to my local Vodacom shop... In the interim Vodacom is charging me an increased amount monthly because I had to upgrade to a fancier monthly package in order to access One Number plus they are charging me the monthly One Number fee lol! Stark contrast to the advertising material around One Number which makes it look like a walk in the park.
