Vodacom one number nightmare

I recently tried to activate the vodacom one number service on my Apple Watch. After following the instructions on the phone and watch as well as the Vodacom value added service profile, the process stalled and I had to resort to phoning customer service. They then gave me instructions for the wrong device (qr code on android) despite my trying to educate them that apple has a different process. I have since seen that this is a common call Centre error and that this causes problems on the phone. After a week of backwards and forwards (about 10 calls) they finally agreed to escalate to their technical department. After following up they said that they have 7 days to respond and that I should be patient. I them received a split second call from their call center - the type where they could show that they tried to make contact - but not long enough to actually speak to the customer. Still sitting and waiting. Ironically we managed to get the same thing sorted on a business contract with a different watch - obviously of higher importance to Vodacom. #privatecustomerwoes

The one number service is working now. Thank you hello Peter for providing an efficient way to escalate poor service levels towards resolve.
