Vodacom old contract challenge
Does Vodacom not employee any human beings anymore to assist you with a telephonic query? I have tried every possible number they have in the hope of finding a person to talk to because the bot that they uses cannot recognize my ID number or cellphone number.
Email queries sent to two different email "support"addresses also come back with a bot response - which does not even speak to my challenge.
Please can I just have a human being respond to me because I need to get a letter from Vodacom stating that the contract I settled in 2019 is no longer active. This "open" contract is affecting my credit score negatively.

11 Aug 2023, 13:35Thank you so much to Marlon at the Vodacom Social Media Team who contacted me not long after my original post and within a few hours I received the settlement letter that I needed. Marlon even followed up with me again this morning just to make sure I received the letter and was happy with how they have resolved it.
In a world where AI and 4IR are the buzz words and held up as the way of the future, I wish companies will remember that human interaction is still the best way to care for your customers.
