Vodacom OFFLINE shopping
placed an order at 6am on Friday for a Nokia N8 on the Black Friday special. My colleagues who ordered after that, at around afternoon around 4pm, who are existing vodacom customers, already have their phones.
I am now told, after trying to get through the vetting process, that the phone is out of stock and there is nothing they can do.
The Vodacom online site is a piece of junk - basically a lead capturing system not tied in anyway to stock reservation, order sequence, or quantity limitations.
1. Why was the stock not reserved when I placed the order like any other normal online store?
2. Why did no consultant call me back as per your original email below?
3. I am aware of your (flawed) online process, but why do existing vodacom customers get preference, and are allowed to jump ahead of the queue?
4. When will you rectify your poorly functioning online processes.
I have purchased the screen protector and case for this phone already. What must I do with it now?
This is not the first time this has occurred when placing an order online, then a deal expiring with no call back from your consultants. I can provided you with details and reference numbers.
You are now trying to offer me a contract at normal rates? Really? Why would I take contract out with you now after to just messed me around?
Vodacom stop being useless.
