Vodacom OBF Failure - No Phone Since 11 April!!

My husband upgraded from his Samsung S3 Mini to a Samsung A3 on 05 April. We were told if there was anything wrong with the phone we could bring it back in 7 days & it would be swapped out as an OBF (Out of Box Failure). In the first week the phone was randomly restarting itself, so we took it back to Vodacom on 11 April. They refused to do the OBF swap out saying the phone had to be sent to JHB for assessment & this would take 5 working days. My husband could not use his old phone as they upgraded him to a nano sim. We told them we would save them the 5 days & get the phone assessed by Samsung ourselves. We came back the next day 12/04/2015 with a report from Samsung Smart Care stating the phone was faulty. Vodacom insisted that the phone had to be assessed by HO, & the branch manager then switched my husband back to a normal SIM so he could use his old phone while the new one went in for assessment. On 17 April Aneesa contacted me to say Vodacom could not find any fault with the device, which we refuse to accept as we have a fault report from Samsung. They have been escalating to HO ever since. We have paid R213 for an upgrade 4 weeks ago & are still without the new phone.
