Vodacom Not Wanting to Pay A Claim - Update
On 29 May I logged a complaint about Vodacom not wanting to pay my insurance claim.

The next day I got a call from Vodacom and I was assured that the matter would be escalated and that a manager will contact me on Monday,1 June. Today is the 10th of June and NO MANAGER HAS CALLED ME.

I spoke to 2 claims consultants, Janine Ismail and Lennox Majola who both were adamant that they do not pay for jamming devices because there was no physical damage to the car. I requested for my rejection letter and the reason on the rejection letter stipulates that my claim will not be paid because I left my phone unattended, so now it's no longer that they don't pay for car jamming devices, they've now changed their tune. Remember my phone was in my hand bag, in the boot of my car, I believe that I did my utmost to ensure that the phone was not in full view and was concealed. I asked Lennox to please give me the details of where this clause is stipulated on their contract and he refered me to Section C, which still does not talk to car jamming. I also asked him when and how I was informed that car jamming devices were an exclusion and he couldn't because I was never told of this ammedmend.
