Vodacom not sticking to their terms regarding cancellations of fibre

I am moving to an address that does not have fibre end of october. I sent in the proof of new address, I dealt with Sharon Anthoney at vodacom fibre *** with ref SR***

Firstly I am on a 24 months contract but vodacom clearly states here WITHOUT PENALTIES if i move to a non fibre area then I can cancell and only pay for the device, well I AM MOVING TO A NON FIBRE AREA here is vodacoms terms extraction...

94. If a Vodacom Fibre customer re-locates to a location with no Vodacom Fibre network, the customer will be able to cancel the Vodacom Fibre contract without penalties however the customer will be liable for any outstanding fees applicable to the CPE (customer equipment).

Now I received my cancellation quote and I was given a cancellation penalty fee of R 7381.23 with ***-798093

I am not going to pay for something I am not going to use and also vodacom clearly states I CAN CANCELL IN THEIR TERMS!!!!

So what is the problem here????

Also I never wanted a 24 month contract, mweb and all the other isps gives you a free router and i was told that for vodacom to give me a free router i must be on a contract? Why is a big company like vodacom not giving the router free?? If i knew this was going to happen I will never have taken fibre with vodacom, that brings me to my next point, if ever fibre becomes available in my new address believe me vodacom will now be my last (or non choice) this is not good service.

I hate complaining but firstly I received no response regarding the quote and now they quote me that crazy amount against their terms????

Anyway sort this out please coz end of Oct the fibre router is going to lie in a box as I am going to go over to ADSL untill fibre is available coz there is 2mb adsl only.

Please sort this out ASAP
