Vodacom not responding to ANY requests for assistance
Multiple emails to customer care not addressed - even after authentication emails to complaints email not answered Edge coverage in Eldoraigne X1 - Ewald Road in particular - multiple residence been submitted requests to Vodacom to address. After more than 4 years a new towrer was isntalled - jippy ........ NO the coverage got worse in Ewald Road - Edge is the best specifically after 18h00 Always Edge when load shedding is happening.
Edge coverage on Saturday 18 July - no data coverage !!! - NOT load shedding
and Tobi the Robot ... well lets just say Tobi's batteries are flat

It is interesting to note that Vodacom’s Customer Care Call Centre Voice Menu options gives Client an option to deal with Tobi (Vodacom's robot) via WhatsApp. I now understand that even while I asked Tobi to connect via WhatsApp that Tobi engaged via SMS. Simple solution - change voice menu option recording.
A Vodacom Call Agent did call me - he was by far the most professional and helpful Vodacom Customer Agent I have ever engaged with. While I stayed on the line after he assisted me to escalate my problem - the call was disconnected. It is mot the first time that even-though I was told (by a recorded message) to stay in line to rate rate agent that calls are disconnected after Agent end the call. Sad to know that the person who assisted me will not get a 10/10 rating that he deserves.
