Vodacom not on Par

Extremely poor service, considering an average spend of R4300 / month. One would imagine that my platinum status would be renewed upon annual review, well it did not happen. After making a fuss and waiting 24 hours for system to be updated and apparent due consideration, Vodacom agreed that they have amply ripped me of so far that my status can be rented. Go in to do the annual upgrade “one of the apparent perks you get” when being a loyal customer and forking your hard earned money out. Only to find out they have reduced your “P” rating, limiting my upgrade options to virtually the biggest pile of **** phones there is on the market. Again making a fuss I was assured first thing the next day after again due consideration their system would be updated and the issue will be resolved. No feed back the next day and after numerus follow up call from my side a verdict was given. Apparently my credit rating does not allow me to have a decent handset!!!!

Only conclusion in terms of this “P” rating is that my credit rating is being exploited and limiting my options on handset but not reducing my contract nor limiting my renewal of the contract, ensuring the same lovely income without giving equal benefits to the customer.

Unacceptable and disappointing to say the least.

When my contract lapses, I will be moving my business to a more ethical service provided.
