VODACOM NOT HONOURING THEIR PROMMISES

05/09/2019 Good day I would like to express my disgust and disappointment towards VODACOM. I made a phone call to Vodacom (the lady I spoke to was Kelly) on the 6th of July 2019, I explained my situation to her, I have 3 contracts on my name, (***) the one of the numbers was used by my late brother who passed away on 3 April 2018, up until know I paid the account which is over R440 ( ***) . Kelly's suggestion was that I Migrate the contract to a You Choose 49 ( with obviously minimum airtime) it was such a relief to me, I actually remember thanking her over and over for this suggestion, I am sure you will be able to listen to the conversation on your records of 06 July 2019 where you will hear that she told me, my whole account will be R300 and something in future. You will also hear on the recorded message that NO mention was made of a migration fee. I went to Hello Peter with my complaint after I send numerous emails to vodacom’s “complaints” department which came back to me all the time, I also send numerous emails to your “Customer care”, where I Received “Read” mails but still there was NO REACTION OF ANY KIND from vodacom’s side. After I laid the complaint with Hello Peter I was contacted by Dean from Vodacom, I Explained the situation to him and he asked me if Kelly told me that there is cost involved to migrate, I informed him she never did. Dean then told me that they needed to listen to the recorded message first. Which I understand. He phoned me back 2 days later and informed me that they listened to the message and that she indeed did NOT inform me in regards to the Migrate fee and my invoice will be corrected. He even said it’s my choice if I would like the money to be deposited into my banking account or if I want to leave it in my Vodacom account. I received an account of R1671.24, . I phoned Vodacom to confirm what I have to pay now and I was told that there was no credit passed on my account. I again tried to send e-mails to your “complaints” and they came back, those I’ve send to “Customer Care” came back “read” but nobody was in contact with me. I made a phone call on 27th of August with service no S439R2W-WANX and the SMS stated .that I will be contacted within 2 working days, I am still waiting for that call. I paid R1660.00 on Monday so that my phones can still work today I receive a call yesterday (Wdnesday 04/09/2019) and was told I Paid 11.24 to little and still NO CREDIT WAS PASSED on my account. At 12:02 I received a reminder sms that I must pay R1660. I am sure that you can understand that this whole situation is getting out of hand know. I had a conversation with my attorney (who I am working for) and if this is not sorted in some way you will receive a call and/or letter from him. I am know really tired of trying to solve this in a decent way and feel that Vodacom need to compensate me apart from the so called “credit” for all the time, phone calls and distress since July, I am expecting a solution not a promise soonest please.
