Vodacom not allocating settlement amount

Today was the umpteenth call I have made to Vodacom to sort out the above and your agent told me I should speak to you because I wanted someone that can make the right decision on the above.

Background

1. I took a laptop with you at Vodaworld in December 2019. The agent assisting me did not bring to my attention in the process of doing the (December) deal that I still have the Acer Laptop still active. This would have allowed me to make a decision if I want to continue and pay X 2 laptop instalment or not. 2. I only became aware when she emailed me an electronic copy of the equipment quotation. I have since then made several calls (unsuccessfully) to get the matter resolved by doing an early settlement of the amount provided in the quotation(attached) 3. After several attempts, I managed to get the attached settlement quote and had since paid Vodacom R 1587.99 4. I was given various assurances that the matter would be referred to the "back office" (-which in the case its a "Black-hole") to have the matter resolved. The query numbers in the subject line were given 5. This morning I receive a notification that my query is closed. 6. I then phoned your call centre to confirm the my debit order for 24 April will be for amount of R 487.00 only for the HP laptop. In one of the many departments I had to speak to, they sent me a statement that my account is in credit with R 867.99 - After they failed to explain why I have a credit , I then realised that Vodacom had taken the monthly subscription amount of R 700.00 from the amount I had paid for the settlement

-They confirmed that they will not debit my account on 24 April because it is in credit.

Actions required * Reverse the R 700.00 to the settlement amount(as provided by Vodacom) * Allocate the amount and close the contract linked to the Acer Laptop// ********** //QC177743-2 * Debit my account on 24th with the amount for the HP Laptop of R 478.00
