Vodacom not admitting mistakes made and charging costumer for it
This is an update on a previous review where the issue has not been solved yet in over 2 weeks with no tangible response from Vodacom. See the original on below with update on the current status.
I made a phone call on 29 September to cancel a contract that was past its 24 months term. The consultant assured me that the cancellation was done and that my last invoice would be for the month of October. On 12 November I received and invoice for November, I proceeded to call the cancellation line again and was told that the cancellation was never logged and that cancelling now would mean that I would still be invoiced for December, meaning that I would be paying for 2 additional months (November and December).
I requested a recording of the phone call made on 29 September and was told that I had to go to any Vodacom store to obtain it as they could not provide it to me from the cancellation line.
On 13 November I went to the local Vodacom store to request said recording and was then again told that they can't help me but must call the help line! A ticket was logged by the store and I was told I would be contacted by Vodacom regarding the ticket, still awaiting any response.
Vodacom as a business is extremely fast to sign you up easily and conveniently to start invoicing, cancelling anything is however extremely difficult and can only be done instore or by calling the help line, this is extremely frustrating!
UPDATE: Vodacom responded on the same day that they would contact me, this has not happened, they only privately rep**** on the review that the contract was cancelled on 12 November, but did not respond on the request for the recording of the phone call or the fact that I would be invoiced for 2 additional months.
I would really appreciate Vodacom to actually contact me, owe up to they mistake, fix it and provide me with the recording that I requested. I will provide the order numbers in the private reply
