Vodacom Northgate Bungle

On Saturday 4 March I requested the consultant at Vodacom Northgate to convert my daughters account to pre paid. He succeeded in converting my number off the network. After geeting myself back on the network (about 3 days later) I found that my number was now also pre-paid. Not a biggie. Since my contract was up I decided I will remain as prepaid. Unfortunately both my daughter and I lost all the airtime that was due to us. I have been trying desperately to get my airtime back. Last Saturday I called at the outlet and had them load some airtime and data and they asked how I would like to pay. I have already paid! I suspect the cnsultant would had to pay since the manager at the franchise was not making much effort to resolve the matter.

Every time I call them (because they don't call me with feedback) I get told what they are waiting for and that they will follow up.

The manager finally called me back now and unfortunatelycannot help until he speaks to the consultant - who is off for the day.

I have received the invoice for the month and they will be deducting the funds from my account at the end of the month......but we do not have the air time!

Needless to say - Vodacom is not interested in fixing the problem - I keep getting offers of new contracts every time I call on the franchise but why would I even consider it?

Once again I had to call Vodacom Northgate fpor feedback. I have been advised that it will take a week to 10 days to give me my airtime back.

Vodacom, please note: If I do not have my airtime back TODAY I will return the debit order at the end of the month and pay my single working account manually. You chose to take my airtime away and therefore are in breach. This is my notice month, I have not had the benefit of the service for the month and you may therefore keep the R1 504.40 plus R150 airtime as payment for the invoice.

Needless to say - nothing has been done.

No feedback, no response, nothing but poor customer service! How very surprising.

No e-mail has been received by me.

I would imagine that the matter would be resolved when the customer agrees that it is resolved and I do not have my air time and I believe that your debit order is about to be processed for the higher amount. So please tell me how this has been resolved?

I have tried calling Vodacom on a number of occasions today only to be passed from one department to another and no one takes responsibility.
