Vodacom? NO -VodaCON; **** conartists

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER. It is a piece of **** and absolute ****. They continuously misrepresent, misinform and are decietful.

My family and I had been loyal customers of Vodacom from the time cellphones arrived in South Africa and I was only too pleased to sign up for the Red VIP package when it was introduced. Limitless call and 10GB data for R2000/pm. Once the contract had ended. They continued to Bill me on a month to month basis as is stipulated.

On Novemebr 30 2020 I came across an offer from MTN for limitless calls and 60GB of data for R899. I requested to leave the Vodacom network so that I could take this new offer at MTN. I was hounded by the retentions team assuring me that they will change both the contracts I have with Vodacom and match the contract offered at MTN. I was happy to settle for unlimited contract with the 45GB(roughly) with Vodacom that they promised.

I promptly received an SMS with reference numbers and awaiting the turn of the month to enjoy my new contract. This did not materialise. They changed one of the contracts and continued to charge me for the other contract at the same rate. This started my countless hours of holding on the phone waiting for a manager. Waiting for a senior. We will get back to you. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Having been fed up with the poor service, broken promises and constinous payment. I asked them to terminate my contract on 8/1/2021. Again to which they agreed and sent the same SMS. Confirming cancellation with a reference number etc. Now 5 months later I sit today for another hour doing the same thing. To try and cancel this contract so I can be freed from the shackles of this soul destroying network.

I value my sanity I'm not even concerned about the amount of money that I have been ****** of. I beg you. PLEASE let me go be free with another network. Every month I open my account and I'm reminded of the burden of having signed with Vodacom. I'm reminded of the foolish choice I made to believe the lip service. My wounds can't heal with when that R1700 debit order goes off it just starts all over again... One day I will escape this turmoil. I hope.

Ladies and gentlemen please if you or your loved ones are with this network. I promptly urge you to get out while you still can. Don't be like me. You still have a fighting chance - learn from my mistakes.
