Vodacom NO signal during load shedding

We stay in Discovery Ext.7 in Roodepoort. During load shedding periods, we do not have ANY cellphone signals in the area. I tried to contact Vodacom to complain, but there is no number that I can phone that gives me the opportunity to explain the problem. Only machine voice prompts !! This is ridiculous. Worse than trying to get hold of Telkom ! All I want to do is to ask them to investigate their backup power in that area, but I suppose, they purposefully make sure no one can get hold of them !! What is the correct number to log a call ?? 082135 does not help a thing !! I can not talk to a machine !!

I have 4 vodacom contracts and will strongly look at changing over to another service provider if this is the type of service I have to PAY for !!

Dear Customer,
Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction with our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organization.

Eskom's load shedding will impact the Cellular and Data services that we render, which will include limited or reduced data services and all telephony services. Kindly accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Your systems should have back-up supplies. That is part of what we pay for. My wife is alone at home during load shedding and relying on VODACOM for communication in the event of any problem at the house. Please escalate this to the management of Vodacom to upgrade their systems to cater for back-up power.

Also, why is there not a number that I can call to speak to someone about this matter ?? Why do I have to follow this route just to contact Vodacom ?? Please do not tell me to call 082 135. Thank you
